IAL CALLS ON FORBES TO RECONSIDER THE SELECTION OF IRANIAN-AMERICAN NEGAR MORTAZACI TO THEIR TOP 30 MOST INSPIRATIONAL WOMEN'S LIST

IAL condemned Forbes for naming Negar Mortazavi to its “Top 30 Most Inspirational Women” list, citing her past ties to NIAC and connections to Iranian FM Javad Zarif. They argue her inclusion ignores the voices of Iranian dissidents and victims’ families, including those of PS752, who view her as an apologist for the regime. IAL urges Forbes to revoke her recognition, stressing that advocates of the Islamic Republic should not be celebrated in the U.S.

The Iranian Americans for Liberty are calling on Forbes to reconsider their selection of Negar Mortazavi to their Top 30 Most Inspirational Women’s List. It is widely known throughout the Iranian-American community that Negar has close ties to the Islamic Republic of Iran Regime through her relationship with Foreign Minister, Javad Zarif from her time as a NIAC employee.

Iranian dissidents in Iran and around the world are risking their lives to speak out against this selection. Here are but a few of those voices that Forbes has actively ignored to amplify the voice of Negar Mortazavi.
