Daniel Jafari, M.D., M.P.H.

Dr. Daniel Jafari, a critical care emergency physician and assistant professor of Emergency Medicine and Surgery at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra University at Northwell Health in New York. Dr. Jafari trained in the United States and United Kingdom, and holds a Master’s in public health from the Imperial College London. Dr. Jafari is an ardent activist for various human rights issues. He contributes to international new media outlets, including the Boston Globe and Radio Farda.

Samuel Shahan

The Iranian Americans for Liberty (IAL) are proud to welcome Samuel Shahan as a new Advisory Board member of the organization. Mr. Shahan is a PhD student at Radford University who is a registered nurse in Virginia. He was born in Iran and moved to America in 2009.

Thomas Datwyler

Over the last twelve years, Thomas Datwyler has served as accountant and treasurer for numerous nonprofits, state and federal campaigns and committees. Thomas has extensive experience with FEC compliance and reporting, contribution processing, and record keeping. He has worked with political parties, committees, and candidates at the state and federal level. Including Congress, Senate and Presidential. Thomas began his career as a finance intern at the 2008 Republican National Convention in St. Paul, MN. He is a spouse, father, and marathon runner. He holds a Business Finance and Accounting degree from Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN.

FARZAD SAFAVI

Over the past decade Farzad Safavi has served as an Investment and Financial advisor across the Financial Services and Real Estate industries in both Ireland and the Middle East; striving and succeeding in bringing the best value to his clients. Farzad has built a strong reputation in the Financial Services industry in Ireland due to his extensive knowledge of international market dynamics. He attained a Professional Certificate in Financial Advice (APA) from University College Dublin in Ireland in June 2013; following on from his BSc in Accounting & Finance from Technical University Dublin in 2012. Farzad has been a member of Fine Gael since 2016; a right of centre political party in Ireland.
